Gurudas Sunyatananda (Francis-Maria Gianmichael Salvato)

"I'm a work in progress!I am a non-theistic, Franciscan-Buddhist monk. In the Buddhist world, I am more commonly known as Dharmacharya Gurudas Sunyatananda. Among Reformed and Progressive Catholics, Quakers and Congregationalists, I am known as Archbishop Francis-Maria (Gianmichael) Salvato."

KHENPO! :/
"Khenpo Gurudas Sunyatananda (known in contemplative Catholic circles as Archbishop Francis-Maria of the Immaculata) is a non-sectarian contemplative monk and dharma teacher, ordained in the Buddhist and Eastern Catholic traditions, and best known for his pioneering efforts to bring the dharma of Buddha and Christ to a postmodern audience, in a contemporary, non-theistic and non-religious context, as he believes both Buddha Sakyamuni and the Rabbi Yeshua ben Yosef (Jesus the Nazarene) intended.
Author of more than six hundred articles, and several books, including such classics as The Dharma of Compassion - One Monk's Reflections on the Teachings of the Enlightened & Anointed Ones, and Awakening: Living the Dharma of Compassion, he is respected as an authority on interreligious and interspiritual dialogue, social justice, peace and contemporary Buddhism.
Khenpo Gurudas Sunyatananda, known simply to his students as Servant-Father or Khenpo (a Tibetan word for abbot or leader of a monastic community), presently resides in the oldest inland city in the United States, historic Lancaster, and presides over the Centre for Integral Buddhism. "

The Power Of Meditation

Any comments please?

"If we can attain nondual, nonconceptual awareness in meditation, we are engaged in profound political activity, . . .
While our nondualistic, nonconceptual meditation is purifying our own obscurations and afflictions and thereby transforming our personal experience of others, it is also becoming a spark of buddha activity in those others. As our meditation becomes effective, the attitude of others towards us begins to change, and they themselves begin to turn inward and to search with greater conscientiousness through the stuff of their own minds and lives for spiritual solutions to their own problems. And as the power of our meditation increases, this effect reaches ever-widening concentric circles of sentient beings with whom we have karmic interdependence, which in this day and age includes not only our immediate family and friends, working associates, and local communities, but also everyone with whom we are connected through all the media of our lives.

--from The Ninth Karmapa's Ocean of Definitive Meaning by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, edited, introduced and annotated by Lama Tashi Namgyal "

Another one is "Tshong Tulku" (Pavel Hanč), saying about himself: "I am a tulku, buddhist, meditator, photographer and philosopher." After being asked his Tulku credentials, he removes one from his friends.
