Tashi Delek,

During last teaching in Budapest Rinpoche motioned mantra, witch can be written on the car tires. It is supposed to make less negative karma caused by killing thousands of little, innocent bugs on the road :nono:. We go tomorrow for long travel and we tough we can use it. Does anybody know it?

Tashi  Delek,

I think Om Mani Pedme Hum can be used for this.

All the best.

I do not know about ven. Shenphen Rinpoche's mantra, but some information relating to how to make one's car beneficial for sentient beings can be found right here:

Bye for now ;)

I was refering to the following mantra:

OM KHE CARA GHANA HUM HRIH SVAHA

It is taught that if you recite this in the morning three times, then spit on the soles of your feet, any living creatures that die beneath your feet that day will reborn among gods of the Thirty-three.

By extension, you may recite this mantra also for the creatures who will dies under your tires...

If you notice any beings dying, either because of your feet, or tires, or whatever other reasons, you may recite: OM MANI PEME HUNG.

All the best, Gelong T. Shenphen

Until then may I too abide, To dispel the misery of the world." (Arya Shantideva)

Tashi Delek,

OM KHE CARA GHANA HUM HRIH SVAHA

Just to make sure: we can extend this mantra for the creatuers who will die under our tires without spitting on the tires? If we have to spit on the tyres, this could cause practical problems in case one is driving a truck, like a 16 wheeler :)).

A '16 wheeler' has more risk to kill insect; it then seems normal it takes more time to recite this mantra on each wheel. :)

Thank you.
