Tashi Delek!

Do +/- actions performed in dream reality usually have karmic results in dream reality and +/- actions performed in awake state in awake reality or is it not necessary so? 8O

Can you explain in which sense is our life considered as like a dream? I can understand it in two ways: as a metaphor, which supports us in keeping distance to our attachments, aversions and pride; or as literary equal reality, like I tend to see life and death as basically the same stream of consciousness (on the subtle level). Can you tell more about it? 8)

Where is the line between the gross level and subtle level of consciousness?

All the best, :) Khandro

Tashi Delek,

Being in one or another body, more or less subtle support for our consciousness, the creation of karma follows the same pattern. According to the state in which we are, the creation of karma will be more or less potent.

In the desire realm, within our human body, we can develop strong energies, therefore stronger results will appear.

After considering impermanence, we usually envision more clearly the true nature of phenomenas. Our perception becomes more sharp, and we dwell toward the analysis of our environment with the view of Emptiness.

What do we discover at this time? What we believed having its own existence is only a creation of the mind, has no self inherent existence.

We usually wake up looking in our dreams with a (more or less) detached look. Because we think they are not real, a mere creation of our mind. What is the difference with our everyday reality? ;-)

Understanding that all experiences without limit of time and space have to be considered with the view of Emptiness, our life can change. If we apply daily this vision, our perception and therefore environment becomes more subtle and wide.

best regards,

Lodreu.

Tashi Delek,

thank you very much for the answer. I have two more questions: where does our dream body dwell - in desire realm? And where does a bardo body stay - considering that bardo is an intermediate state, but still connected to past and future bodies?

Best regards,

Khandro

When we are awaken, there is no dream body; it appear each time we are living this body, falling asleep. Same for Bardo body.

Bardo body is connected with next life. It can move through the universe, according to the karma which the person has created. If the person is within the Desire sphere, the bardo (as well as the dream) body will remain within this sphere.

Hope it's clear enough. Gelong T. Shenphen

Thank you for your answer.

So, our dream body appears in Desire sphere, if I understand right. Do beings in Form and Formless sphere dream as well or is dreaming unique for Desire sphere?

Can you tell more about the three spheres?

All the best,

Khandro
