In the introduction to the roundtable debate entitled Ecology of Spirit, Ms Vida Ogorelec Wagner, director of Umanotera, Slovene Foundation for Sustainable Development, presented her Climate Report, underlying the main topics regarding climate change and global warming.

Round table was then chaired by Aleš Černič, who facilitated the discussion on relationship of religious communities towards the protection of environment. The positions were explained and debated by the representatives of Roman Catholic Church (Tadej Strehovec), Islamic Religious Community (Imam Ifet Suljič) and Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling (Lama  Shenphen Rinpoche ).

Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling has signed several important declarations regarding the protection of environment, among them also the French Ecology Pact and the Ecology Treaty signed in Graz.
