"International Healing and Meditation Center"

Now that the situation of Dharmaling in Slovenia is settled, and Dharma better recognised in that country, we decided to move to the next project.
We are starting the project committee for the "International Healing and Meditation Center" on Paros island, Greece.

Based on our positive experience from 1998 to 2001, with the meditation center of Petaloudes (closed since 2001, when the owner decided to sell the house), Lama Shenpen Rinpoche would like to set another similar Center, on the same island.

Rinpoche having students from all over the world, we hope to keep this Center active not only during the summer months but also organising retreats and seminar during other months of the year, this way participating also a little in the sustainability of the island during the off- months.

Rinpoche is a well-known healer, proposing his services since 25 years. Energy based, Rinpoche's ways of healing are also taking in consideration the psyche of the people, their way of living, eating, working. Thus dealing not only with physical troubles, but psychological ones also. Based currently in Slovenia, Rinpoche is regularly active is several countries of Europe: Hungary, Austria, Romania, Poland, Russia, ... Teaching about the spiritual journey towards Enlightenment, mostly based on the Buddhist Tradition
as developed in Tibet, Rinpoche grew in the West till age 16, understanding therefore the needs and particularities of our modern world.

The Island of Paros remained in the projects of Rinpoche since the previous Center was closed in 2001. Rinpoche mentioned many times that this particular island has a unique energy, very favourable for healing and spiritual
practices. It’s not the goal of Rinpoche to open a new-age center, or a place motivated by personal aims, fame or wealth, but to create an authentic Center for Peace and spiritual well-being, of as many beings as possible, whatever religion or background. This physical and mind Peace can be achieved following several traditional methods and practices.

Rinpoche thinks it is time to start the investigations and preparation for the realization of this projects and the opening of such Center within just a few years. We already are in contact with some real estate, searching for either the appropriate land to build on, or an already existing premise, large enough to accomodate enough persons.
