Agreement with the State
Signature of an agreement between the Government of Slovenia and the Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling
The 4th of July 2008, Lama Shenphen Rinpoche (Abbot of the Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling) and Pr. Lovro Sturm (minister of Justice, and president of the commission for religious questions of the Government of Slovenia) did sign an agreement; recognizing officially the Buddhist Congregation by the Government.
Dharmaling is the 6th religious community in Slovenia to sign such agreement, after four Christian faiths and the Muslim community.
